The main advantage of this rather banal camera is the presence of “Footix”, the mascot of the football world cup which France organized and wined on July 12th, 1998.
This camera with its oversize viewfinder belongs to the family of the PRIMA. The lens is of the type “fix-focus” of 32 mm open to 6.7; it allows an area of sharpness ranging between 1.5 m and the infinite one.
A device can be implemented to reduce the phenomenon of the red eyes on the exposure to the condition which the subject looks at the camera right before the release.
The user manual of this rather basic camera indicate that it is usable only with negative film color.
There exists a version of this camera with the function “dates” which makes it possible to write out of orange, the current date on the exposure. It appears that goes even for other times of year that on July 12th.
There is still a photo film present in this camera. There is can be a photograph of Zidane…
