Eos 1000, released in 1990, Eos 1000F released in 1991. Eos 1000n and 1000Fn replaced them in 1992. This “transitory” range has what to disconcert the customers.
Versions “N” improve the preceding ones by using items appeared on Eos 100, like the drive belt. The advance of film is much quieter as a result.
The shutter allows from now on the 1/2000 second
These versions are equipped with a function “'SF” which makes it possible to make a blur effect automatically. It is about a double shuttering. The first gives a clear exposure, the second make a second exposure with a picture whose blur is obtained by an automatic shift of the focusing. Who said “gadget!” ?
Another gadget, the beep of the self-timer can be replaced by a music.
The exposure counter is decreasing, because to the insertion of a film, this one entirely left its cartridge. It reinstates it at each exposure. This system makes it possible to protect the exposures in the event of accidental opening from the back.
