Alpa 9D

Traduction de Daniel W, USA

The Alpa 9d keeps the general appearance of the 6c but presents, in relationship to this last, an important development:  the Alpa 9d is the first camera with a lightmeter that measures through the lens.  The metering system is powered by a mercury cell and has two cells that measure the light behind the prism and a third that corrects for light entering through the finder.

This camera long sought by photographers was on the market from 1964 to 1988; more that 5000 2343 made.

It was classically fitted with a Kern MacroSwitar but the Kilfitt Makro-Kilar, a high quality alternative, was often fitted.  The Makro-Kilar E (here s/n 246) allows focusing to 1:2.
