Traduction de Alphonse Khuu

Designed by Lucien Dodin, in 1952 (apparently with some delay, if you believe the ads) it is a 24x24 camera using the 135 film. It is an original camera by its system of aim without pentaprism. The axis of the mirror is vertical and the image in reflection taken over by two small prisms is fully straightened up. A license will be granted to Olympus for the Pen F.

The shutter with rigid metal curtain gives 1/1000 per sec. The winding is made by trigger.

There is a double flash sync. The lens is interchangeable with a bayonet system, on a removable plate letting the drop front of the lens.

This lens is a Saphire Boyer 3.5/40 No. 470 230.

Rear View: The film plate is carried by a removable component, perhaps intended for scientific uses...
On the left, Flor BERTHIOT F = 50 1: 2.8 No. 1 067 182, right, Saphir BERTHIOT F = 50 1: 2.8 No. 567 647. These two lenses are equipped with a manual pre-selection of the aperture. (We keep the diaphragm fully opened, and when we release, it closes to the value previously selected.)
