Chronology of cameras Canon
Traduction de Manuel M
AT1 is the little brother of the Canon AE-1, of which it starts again the external mould. It was the second besides, chronologically, of the series of the A. He replaced Ftb of the preceding series.
AT1 is semi-automatic, i.e. that it is necessary to choose Speed and Opening. However, and contrary to a manual camera, an assistance is offered under the form of a needle and a round, which it is necessary to make coincide in the viewfinder. There is no indication speed or opening in the sight viewfinder.
Handling failing to offer a great creativity made it possible to the beginners of good to get out there.
It was the first reflex camera of Bruno. The purchase invoice, of the 6/2/79, indicates that the camera was worth 1390 francs then, with its standard lens, the very widespread one, FD 1,8/50 mm.
