History of the brand Herbert George New window

Traduction de Sylvain Halgand

This Stylex resembles a lot Ansco Clipper . The principle and the general form are similar. The lens is at the end of a rectangular tube which it is necessary to draw before photographing. Two springs prevent the tube from inopportunely returning (damage that our french Ultra Fex did not know this element.). The camera is all made of plastic of very average quality. A glance inside the camera, makes it possible to see the traces of joining, rather coarse.
Camera former to 1961, date of the renaming of Herbert George Co. in Imperial.
