Boîtier grand public de Nikon, le FG succède à l’EM en 1982. Il dispose d’un mode P, entièrement automatique et d’un mode A qui donne priorité à l’ouverture. Très compact et léger, il est agréable à utiliser. Son viseur est grand, clair et reprend sur sa droite la vitesse d’obturation actuelle par une échelle de LED.
