There is probably nothing similar in Europe!!!
The series of Fotron (three models) was distributed by door-to-door selling to the American residences during the 60s. Equipped with exceptional functionalities for the time (advances automatic film, flash incorporated, recharging on the sector…), it was very expensive. Encumbering, heavy (1100 grams), it was usable only with one film 828, 10 exposures, conditioned in a cassette that only the manufacturer sold. These defects, these restrictions brought one of the most beautiful failures of the history of photography, in spite of interesting innovations.
