Chronology of cameras Hunter
Traduction de Sylvain Halgand
Hunter has a not very conventional form. It comes to him from its finder which can turn around the lens, in order to adapt to the vertical or horizontal viewfinding.
The pull knobs located in top of the frontage, allow, for that of left, to choose between two openings, that of right side, between two speeds (fast/slow).
The camera is equipped with a safety against the double-exposure. If one looks in the lens, after a release, the bottom appears in red. It passes to the green, as soon as the film is advanced.
There is a setting of the distance, but it is very approximate. For that, it is necessary to turn the lens, independently of the finder. An index of the distances is engraved on the helicoid.
The camera is made of aluminum, sheathed imitation-lizard. According to certain English sources, it would have been used by the British police force.
