Chronology of cameras Ricoh
Traduction de Sylvain Halgand.
Focusing is done by a rangefinder. The lens is Rikenon of 2.8/40 mm of rather universal use. There is a control of exposure, by a cell CdS (coupling from 25 to 800 asa), with priority at the speed. It also functions in manual mode, by choosing speed and diaphragm.. In the finder appears following information: value of the aperture, on and under exposure by red zones, Indicator “M” in manual position.
The original battery was a model with mercury 1.35 volt. Mercury being prohibited, it can be replaced by a LR44 or similar.
The camera can also function without battery at all speeds in manual position , thanks to the mechanical central shutter at 7 speeds 1/8, 1/15, 1/30, 1/60, 1/125,1/60, 1/125, 1/250, 1/500 + poses B
The camera is equipped with two contacts for flash: a hot shoe for electronic flash and a sync for flashlight.
This camera exists in two completions: chrome or black.
Nonglad to be beautiful, this small telemetric is powerful. Its notoriety explains its still high price.
