This Malik is a Leidolf Lordomat SLE of 1959. The only change compared to the German model seems to be the affixing of the name “Malik” in fronting.
This Lordomat SLE is a coupled rangefinder camera, with correction of parallax, equipped with a selenium cell. The embossing which is visible under the name “Malik” and which is characteristic of Leidolf hides a transmission system between the lens and the body. It allows the correction of parallax in the viewfinder.
The lens is Lordonar 2,8/50. It is interchangeable.
The cocking lever is very particular because positioned forwards. It is necessary to twice actuate it for one to cock the camera.
