Chronology of cameras Canon
Traduction de Manuel M
From 1973, Canon made some modifications to its FTb of 1971. Outside, the self-timer lever is different, the end of the cocking lever is sheathed of plastic and a small swiveling cover masks the socket synchro of the flash.
More important, selected speed is displayed in the viewfinder. It is not very visible, since it is about a short piece of a transparent disc which is displayed in bottom on the left, but it is quite useful.
FTb being a semi-automatic camera, position A of lens FD is not usable. FTb allows a measure of the exposure at full aperture. Under the lever of the self-timerr, a position is engageable for the measure at stopped-down closed diaphragm with the non-FD lens.
