Chronology of cameras Ihagee

This version of the Exakta B is earlier than this other one presented on the site.
While the main characteristics are similar, on this version, there is no lever  for the film winding and shutter cocking. Flash sync. pins do not exist.

The advance of the film is done by turning the big wheel. This allows the shutter cocking. Fast shutter speeds should be set on the selector located between the wheel and the viewfinder hood. Slow shutter speeds are set on the dial on the left, which also acts as a timer.

To complicate the accurate identification of this model, a sync connection was added in afterwards. It is seen under the trigger.
Referring to Mc Keown, it appears to be a type 2.2 modified.
