Chronology of cameras Canon
This camera was also known as the Prima Super 120 (Europe) or the Autoboy 120 (Japan). It has most of the controls and the LCD on the rear door. A wheel is used to select auto, spot metering, continuous shooting sports mode, portrait mode, night synchro mode, macro or 'personal'. There is an inconspicuous panel on the left side of the back which conceals controls for seven flash modes including +/- 1.5EV, self timer, single frame or continuous shooting, and three point or single point AF. These settings are generally only available under the the 'personal' setting of the wheel. The viewfinder is adjustable. The weaknesses of the design are the battery cover which is not attached to the camera and difficult to use, and the flash which deploys whether it is needed or not, making it vulnerable to damage. There is also a 'Caption' version with a date function and five captions each in four languages. The Autoboy 120 (for the Japanese market) also has the 'panorama' function giving a 36 mm x 13 mm frame.
