Chronology of cameras Canon
Traduction de Sylvain Halgand
A few years before the enormous commercial success of the AE-1 (1976), FTb announces the reflex camera 24x36 of the amateur. It is solid, quite manufactured and very complete. Principle “QL” (Quick Loading) minimizes even the problems due to a bad positioning of the film. It is still about a camera where it is necessary to regulate diaphragm and shutter speed (the AE-1 will be a priority at the speed). To obtain a good exposure, it is necessary to lead to coincidence the two needles (for the photographic exposure meter, the other for the diaphragm) visible in the finder.
In this finder a rangefinder with microprisms contributes to the Focusing of the distance (on the AE-1, the rangefinder will be with coincidence).
Franck Leclerc reminds to me that the small button under the lever of left makes it possible to raise the mirror.
