Polaroid Swinger model 20

Traduction de Eric LeDonne

The swinger is from 1965, and is one of the most common Polaroid cameras. Therefore, this camera is very easily found at flea markets. Jim McKeown also estimates that a truckload of these is worth $5, including delivery. The Swinger uses film type 20 (hence "model 20" added to its name) which only permits black and white pictures.

The word "yes" appears in the viewfinder when there is a sufficient amount of light to take a picture. The shutter has only one speed of 1/200s.

This camera was withdrawn around 1970, but still appears on the 1970 Natkin catalogue, sold for 111 Francs, or 149 Francs in a case.
