Chronology of cameras Agfa

If the relationship to the Agfamatic 126 is obvious, this model hides a few oddities. This is not a 126 camera, but one that uses Rapid cartridges.

Its date is also an issue. McKeown dates it to around 1984, but in the box I have, an unused roll of Rapid film bears an expiration date of 1976 or 1978, the last digit being illegible. In the box we find instructions in the form of a maze, with graphics very typical of the early 1970s, where a VW Beetle is shown. The joy displayed by the characters is at odds with the Franco regime and might be explained by the arrival of Juan Carlos in 1975.
Of course this model is typically Spanish and was made in Barcelona by Certex.
The document also shows a denim bag (hence the camera’s name) stamped “Agfa,” which seems hard to find nowadays.

L'appareil est accompagné d'un mode d'emploi ludique, puisqu'il est en forme de jeu de l'oie. Le graphisme est très typé années 70. Les illustrations sont dues à Ferran Sostres.
