Rolls Rolls

Traduction de Sylvain Halgand.

This Rolls belongs to the multitude of cameras known as “ minicam” which appeared at the end of the Thirties and particularly around the Large Lakes. As for Herold or Utility Mfg, Chicago was the birthplace. This “minicam” used the film Vest Pocket (it is what is indicated inside the camera) to make photographs 4 X 6,5 cm (oddly the size of negative is indicated in Anglo-Saxon system AND metric system) or the film Agfa A8 or Kodak 127 (in half-format). This type of bakelite camera, being rather widespread in the USA, can be the subject of a collection with whole share.
