Alsace belongs to a series also including the models Picardy, Provence, Riviera, Ardennes and Normandy. These denominations were those used for export towards the anglophone countries.
Alsace has the same body exactly as Junior. The lens is Kior 6,3/100 mm, speeds are B, 25, 50, 100 and 150. The apertures of Alsace go from 6,3 to 11. The shutter of Junior is of a diameter higher than that of Alsace.

Although the unit is not indicated, the distance scale is in feet.

About the cameras intended for the American market, I have a very personal hypothesis on the reason of their name of French area. I think that they are the French areas in which, American fight during the two world wars:

However, these cameras were sold in the USA (and in other Anglo-Saxon countries having taken part in the same combat) in the years which followed the second world war, whereas the GI had just returned on their premises, and that the veterans of the WWI were always alive. Marketing….
