Le Cocarette III (518/17) est un modèle de grande taille. Les négatifs obtenus mesurent approximativement 8 x 10,5 cm. Le film est référencé E6 ou F6, mais correspond au 118.
Fabriqué de 1926 à 1932, ce modèle de Cocarette subit des modifications au cours de sa commercialisation. Cet exemplaire a un obturateur Compur avec réglage par une bague périphérique. C'est un bel appareil, en métal émaillé ou recouvert de cuir. La mise au point se fait par crémaillère. Le décentrement vertical se règle au moyen d'une vis micrométrique. Un niveau à bulle complète le viseur redresseur.
