Chronology of cameras Marchand

Document sans titre

Whether under the name Flash or Fischer Baby, the plastic 6 x 9 cameras offered by Marchand did not really have success. These globular shaped boxes used film 620.

Bernard Vial points out that the very thin plastic shell was not really light-tight, and required the use of low sensitive orthochromatic films.

The staples holding the back have an unfortunate tendency to open unexpectedly, ruining the hopes of the young photographer... who, no doubt, would have been disappointed by the poor quality of the result.

The distribution was handled by toy shops rather than by photographers who preferred to offer box cameras or more reliable Photax and Fex.

The Flash model has nothing to justify its name, neither synchronization nor flash support! Very fragile, it is now rare.
