Chronology of cameras Obergassner
The company was founded at the end of the 19th century by Michael Obergassner from Munich. He is listed in the 1902' Annuaire du commerce et de l'industrie photographiques under general supplies. During the 1910s, he patented several processes related to color photography.
Mr. Obergassner was also a photographer, and it's relatively easy to find cartes de visite-sized photos from his studio located at Kaufinger Strasse 14 in Munich.
The company struggled to survive the Second World War and was eventually acquired during the 1960s. It then became a distributor, and all its cameras were branded as "OGA," regardless of the model or the original manufacturer. The competition from Asian manufacturers ultimately put an end to the camera business. The company refocused on film sales and processing.
The cameras sold by Obergassner came from well-known German manufacturers such as Franka or Regula.

Celui-ci est un Regula Cita III, il est vraisemblable qu'il était vendu sous le nom de modèle "Oga", tout simplement comme la plupart des autres modèles de la marque.
Ce télémétrique est dans un état impeccable, et la cellule au sélénium, bien protégée par son petit volet et l'étui en cuir de l'appareil, fonctionne toujours.
L'obturateur est un Prontor SVS, allant de la seconde au 1/300 + pose B. L'objectif est un Steinheil Cassar 2,8/45 mm.
