No fancies for this camera. So much so that in any place its complete name does not appear!
This version E (E like Entfernungsmesser), first of Contessamatic, proposes a rangefinder coupled, absent on the version of the Contessamat nevertheless of posterior basis.

The cell is read in the viewfinder and one aligns the needle face to face the notch in the centre of the viewfinder while turning the ring of speeds or that of the diaphragm. If the parameter which one modifies does not have enough amplitude of adjustment, the other ring is drived mechanically. To rewind the film, not need to tear off yourself  your nails to bring out the crank which is fitted in the sole: a pressure under the button of disengaging of the drive of film makes it jump in place.
