Chronology of cameras Zeiss Ikon
Traduction de Manuel M
The Contaflex is resulting from a great lineage of cameras, whose first models, Super and Super B, accepted a price “Oscar” for their appearance and their elegance. This model has the advantage innovating to have a cell allowing a TTL measure. For that, it is placed close to the eyepiece. It works with of CdS whereas the preceding models of the range had a selenium cell.
One can be mistaken by seeing the small window on the side in the lens and think that it is about a window of measurement, but it is by way of the window lighting the indications of the viewfinder.
It is a reflex camera with interchangeable optical complements. Its removable back allows the use of magazine tight with the light. The change of the type of film is thus easy, even in full middle of this one.
It is possible to use as optical complement the monocular telescope 8 X 30 B of Zeiss. It is transformed then into 400 mm. Zeiss was precursory in digiscopy.
