The stereflektoskop is a stereo jumelle camera manufactured from1913 until 1930 derivative of its ancestor, the Sterephotoskop.
Although having a resemblance to the Heidoscope and the Rolleidoscope of Francke & Heidecke (Rollei), this camera be launched before.
The Stereflektoskop was built in 2 formats 4.5 x 10.7 cm and 6 x 13 cm, under several variants.
The camera presented is of 1929 and bears the serial number 80180. It is equipped with three Heliar lenses of 60 mm, opened to 4.5. That of the middle makes it possible to obtain the reflex centring. This one is done by the top of the camera. One has a folding magnifying glass, a spirit level on the frosted grounded glass, as well as a table of depth of field to the back of the viewfinder. It is also changeable in a sport viewfinder. The mention “Voigtlander Braunschweig” is located on the front of the viewfinder.
The focusing is made by the lateral serrated roller. The plate which supports all the lenses moves in its whole.
The adjustment of the diaphragm is located on the circumference of the central lens. The shutter is a Stereo Compur, whose the selector speed (1 s to 1/250s) and the cocking lever are located on a side of the plate.
On the top and the other side, there is the release shutter (very elegant) and a socket for cable release.
The choice between the instantaneous and the pose B and T, is made by a small mobile rotary anchor which falls perfectly under the finger. This anchor is characteristic of the format 4.5 x 10.7, for the format 6 x 13 it is a lever on the top of the turntable which provides this function.
The camera presented is equipped with magazine for film-pack.
The table is covered with a magnificent black finishing, which gives an unquestionable touch of class to this camera.
