Zeiss Ikon Ikonta C

The 523/2 is a modernization of the 521/2. The modernization consists of the addition of a metallic hood taking up a complete side (which becomes the top?) of the camera. The viewfinder is integrated into the hood. The blocking system against the double-exposure undoubtedly disappears inside this hood. The key of advance of film is replaced by a serrated roller. Symmetry is ensured by one second (false) serrated roller which is used as memo.

In the Nettar series, model 518/2 is the closest.
