Chronology of cameras Kodak
The format Six 16 provides negatives larger than those given by the format Six-20. Therefore, the Six-16 cameras are larger than the Six-20. The difference is obvious when the two models are placed together, but is less obvious when both models are observed separately.
In our time, it looks like the Kodak engineers did a copy / paste for several of their models. This is the case of this chocolate colour version of the Six-20 and Six-16. However with a little observation, we may distinguish each other. Since the Six-16 is larger, the octagonal plate around the lens has more surface area to allow the indications to be written. They are therefore less tightened.
The "chocolate" version was built from 1932 to 1934.
Note: this specimen was photographed at the vintage cameras fair of Chelles (France). The owner is not identified.
