Chronology of cameras Lumiere
In the early thirties, Lumière had a series of plate cameras in their catalog, with formats of 6.5 x 9 cm and 9 x 12 cm. These cameras appear to have come from the Joinville workshops, which Lumière acquired following Hémax's bankruptcy.
The 1931 catalog provides a comprehensive overview of this series, allowing for easy establishment of a hierarchy based on pricing.
There were four types of shutters available:
Type II: Shutter offering speeds of 1/25, 1/50, 1/100, B, T
Type III: Ibsor model
Type IV: Compur model
Type V: Compur model with delay
The Starter, Tahka, and Ultra models could also be supplied with Havana leather covering for an additional 50 francs over the prices listed below.

La chambre Takha, comme la Starter, est entièrement métallique, ce qui permet de la distinguer de la Krita. elle est à double tirage. Les décentrements se réglent par vis micrométriques.
L'exemplaire présenté ici bénéficie de la finition en cuir Havane. La griffe porte-accessoire n'est pas d'origine.
