History of the brand Konica New window

Traduction de Sylvain Halgand.

Konica is the contraction of Konishiroku PhotoInd. Co Ltd. This firm exists since 1877. It was the first in Japan to manufacture emulsions and paper. It was also the first company in the world, in 1967, to put on the market a SLR camera, with TTL metering and with automatic control of exposure.
Autoreflex TC has a Konica bayonet. It is a priority speed automatic, with memorizing of exposure. The control of exposure is carried out by CdS cells located on both sides of the prism. Automatic measurement TTL of the exposure is possible with full opening with the coupled Hexanon AE lenses.
