Chronology of cameras Ernemann
The Ernemann Heag V was a series of plate folding cameras made in 3 formats. This example belongs to the smaller format, 4.5 x 6 cm. These cameras were produced from 1922 to 1926, when Ernemann was merged in the Zeiss Ikon.
The viewfinder is a brilliant finder located in the top left of the front standard. The front has vertical (micrometer) and horizontal movements, and focusing (to 1 m) is achieved by a radial lever on the right side of the folding bed.
The shutter is a Chronos C delivering speeds in the range 1 to 1/300 s plus B (O) and T (Z). The lens is a Ernemann Anastigmat Ernotar with 7.5 cm of focal length and maximum aperture of 4.5.
