Chronology of cameras Aires

Traduction de PY Petit.

This is a beautiful camera. It will be the last 35mm rangefinder of this brand, which will end in a sad way because it wasn’t capable of introducing a 35mm SLR fast enough.

Aires design of its late cameras (IIIc and above all this Raday Eye) is clearly inspired by the Leica M3.

It has a coupled meter, a nice 1:1.9 45mm H-Coral lens and the brand new SEIKO leaf shutter, the SLS that fired, for the first time on a 35mm rangefinder (with a leaf shutter), up to 1/1000th!!!

The finder is collimated with a 45mm frame and parallax correction is automatic. It weights more than 800 grams.
With no more than 1,000 units produced, this wonderful camera is rarely seen.
