Chronology of cameras Ansco

Traduction de Manuel M

Ansco is a old american brand created in 1902 and having taken this name in 1907. After various misadventures (Agfa-Ansco, GAF, etc), the brand ended in the moneybag of Haking International (Hong Kong).
Though the dithyrambic introduction of the directions for use says, this compact, although pleasant, is rather basic.
Its lens is an 38mm with 1/3.5 aperture deprived of system of focusing.
The diaphragm is regulated automatically by the cell which brings the flash into service if need be.
Speed is only: 1/125 second.
Cell and flash are fed by 2 batteries AAA of 1.5 Volt

There exists also a named version 35SC under the Haking brand and one 35 FC under the Revue brand.

In the report of the PMA of 1982, appears a camera very resembling, under the name of Ansco Micro 35. It is specified there that the opening of the shutter protecting the lens and the viewfinder is made by the cocking lever.. The opening of the shutter causes the powering of the electronic circuits.
