Traduction Christian Surle.
Leica model II was manufactured from 1932. It features a coupled telemeter compared with the earlier models. The case above the body protects the viewfinder and the telemeter; it inspired hundreds of copies that are still made today, even among numeric cameras.
Leica model II features a cloth shutter that allows speeds from 1/20° sec. to 1/500° sec., plus B setting. This camera was sold in black or silver. Its serial numbers start from 71500.
