Chronology of cameras Petri

Traduction de Alphonse Khuu

With its camera line "7", Petri launches on the market four 35mm rangefinder cameras with integrated selenium cell around the lens (Circle Eye)

The quality of these cameras is correct but very indented; typical of Japanese productions of this kind during the 60's.

Their design remains pleasant but without comparison with the previous camera lines.

• Viewfinder with framelines for a 45mm lens and yellow, comfortable size and rectangular rangefinder view.
24x36 frame size for 135 films.
• Leaf shutter signed "PETRI MVE" with 10 shutter speeds: from 1 to 1/500 sec + B.
• Fixed lens PETRI f 2.8 / 45mm. Minimum aperture at f16. Coated lens as the inscription indicates "super color corrected".
• Selenium cell "Circle Eye" with needle reading on the right of the viewfinder.
• New film advance with lever and with an integrated mechanical frames counter.
• No reminder of used film
• Self-timer
• Rewind wheel
• Accessory shoe.
• Selective M and X synch on the shutter

It cost 12,500 yen
