Chronology of cameras Ansco

Traduction de Manuel M

During the Twenties, Ansco manufactured a series of models taking the name of Goodwin to pay homage to the Reverend Hannibal Goodwin, inventor of transparent flexible film in 1887. The body corporate Goodwin Film & Camera Co Inc. was recovery by Anthony and Scovill (AnSco) after his death in 1900.

This box, with the format 6.5 X 11 cm, is out of carton, except for carry film block which is out of wood. On this last the numbers of the patents settled in the United States and Canada are engraved.
The back part did not go up on hinge, it is the coating in canvas which makes it interdependent of the case.

The selection between the pause and the instantaneous one is done by the pull knob located close to the higher viewfinder, the selection of the aparture is located at the top of the shutter release.

Its construction is identical to Ansco Spécial manufactured of 1924 to 1928.
