Chronology of cameras Voigtlander
Traduction de Manuel M
This Bergheil 6.5 x 9 seems to be an intermediate model between former Bergheil with fixed lens and most recent with interchangeable lenses. It must be probably the first Bergheil 6.5 x 9 to have this option.
The lens, an Héliar, goes dates of 1922 and the Compur shutter, 1925. This last date is relatively conform with the launch of the interchangeability of the lenses.
Of its elder, it kept certain caracteristics:
- the rather square fork lens-holder
- the folding viewfinder with reticle on the side (which is unfolded with the opening of the camera)
- grips of extraction of the bellows in shape of “ears of Mickey”.
You can play to of the 7 errors game by comparing it with the Bergheil of the same format but dating of 1932.
