Chronology of cameras Photo-Sport 

Photo-Sport was a distributor of cameras, accessories, and photographic chemicals. It appears to have been active from 1898 until the beginning of World War II.

Under its own brand name and with specific model names, Photo-Sport resold cameras from various manufacturers. If you compare the number of Photo-Sport models listed in catalogs to the number of cameras found and attributed to this brand, it is possible that not all cameras were labeled as Photo-Sport. Over the years, the proportion of exclusive models in the catalogs significantly decreased. Towards the end, Photo-Sport was primarily a reseller.

Photo-Sport was initially located at 22 Rue Caumartin in Paris, very close to the Opera, then moved to 56 Rue Caumartin before World War I, and finally to 71 Rue Caumartin around 1930, gradually moving closer to Gare Saint-Lazare.
From the catalogs, it is known that the first director, and possibly the founder, was named Georges de Corbin.

Par rapport à celle présentée au catalogue de 1901, cette jumelle n'a plus de magasin, mais un dépoli pouvant être remplacé par un châssis simple ou double.

C'est une jumelle sans originalité, dont le constructeur réel reste à déterminer, disposant quand même d'une mise au point jusqu'à un mètre par crémaillère et du double décentrement, horizontal et vertical.

Son intérêt vient surtout de son obturateur, proposé à l'époque pour un supplément de 90 francs, un Otto Lund N° 722 de type à guillotine rotative. Les vitesses sont graduées de 1 à 7 et Pose. Les diaphragmes sont échelonnées de ½, 1, 2, 4, 8, 16. Comme la pleine ouverture (½) correspond à F : 6,8, le 16 devrait correspondre à ~ f/52. Un petit indicateur permet de savoir si l'obturateur est armé (A) ou posé (P).

L'objectif est très finement gravé à la main "25136 C. Berthiot Bté S. G. D. G. Fab. Opt. Paris Eurigraphe Anastigmatique Symétrique N° 1 F / 6,8" mais sans mention de la focale.

Du viseur, il ne reste que les trous de vis... Le reste de la construction est bonne, avec deux écrous de pied au pas du Congrès et deux niveaux à bulle.
