Le Ricoh Jet est contemporain et semble identique au Ricoh 500 de dernière génération avec capot supérieur à décrochement.
Cette version apporte le collimateur à cadre brillant avec correction automatique de la parallaxe au Ricoh 500
Il existait une version avec une optique ouvrant à 2,8 et une, celle présentée ici, avec une optique ouvrant à 1,9. Les deux sont d'origine Tomioka
Cette génération d'appareils est la dernière à avoir utiliser le châssis issu du Ricolet et du Riken 35
