The Kinax range of 6,3 folding camera began with the modelBaby. That of the 4,5 began with Kinax I. It also comprised Kinax II and III.

This model of Kinax I with a lens Kinn 4,5/100 mm with Focusing by rotation of the lens flange, graduated of 1,75 m ad infinitum and IPO (Sté Industrielle de Photographie and of Optique) shutter. Speeds of this one go from 1/10 to 1/150, plus exposure B, with a synchro flash. There are a clear reversible finder on the lens/shutter block, and an optical finder on the right side of the body. The shutter release is also on the lens/shutter block.
