Chronology of cameras Polaroid

Traduction de Sylvain Halgand

This model of Polaroid is unusual and probably rare because of its function. It is intended to take photographs of oscilloscope screen (oscillophotography). I did not find absolutely any mention on Internet of this camera. It however is not about do-it-yourself house, because he is clearly identified as being Polaroïd CR9.

The body seems to be that of Colorpack 80 from where the finder would have been removed, like all the frontal part. Between the lens, which lost its focusing, and the body, a traditional shutter (rare at Polaroid) at three speeds was intercalated (1/125, 1/60, 1/30 and B) and seven apertures (5,6 to 45). The shutter release disappeared and is replaced by a flexible shutter release connected to a handle.
On the guide of exposure located at the back of the camera, it is indicated that the optimal exposure depends on the setting of intensity of the screen, of the type of layer and various other factors. To take a photograph, the plate before camera must be in contact with the framework of the screen of the oscilloscope.

The film used is the standard film 107.
