Chronology of cameras Ansco

Traduction de Sylvain Halgand

Color Clipper is in rupture compared to the line of the other Clipper, Flash Clipper. The body became entirely metal, covered with a very beautiful frosted painting of khaki color. It also became more angular. The most remarkable modification is that the former part of the optical finder moves with the metal tube which must be drawn to put in order the camera. The shutter release, metal red, are on the tube and form even one of the higher angles of this one, over all its length. Release is theoretically possible, but practically extremely difficult as long as the tube is not extracted completely. Two springs prevent that the tube does not retract involuntarily.
The flash, removable, is fixed on the former part of the tube. The camera cannot be folded up if the flash is not removed.
This format 120 is more recent than the other Clipper and dates a priori from the 50s end.
