Chronology of cameras Fed
This camera is part of the latest series of FED-2 with the old shutter speeds standard, ie 1/25th and 1/50t instead of 1/30th and 1/60th of the new standard that will equip Type D (F150) versions from 1958 until 1963.
We distinguish:
The lens FED-Industar 26M f: 2.8/52mm,
Sync. on the cover near to the rangefinder window,
Dioptric adjustment under the rewind lever,
Self timer either in low or high position.
It is to be noted that in addition to the black colour, bodies could be originally painted brown / red, sand, pale navy blue, gray or pale green. which means that gaudy colors are not original.
The total black version itself has never existed and post customization has been done with more or less success ...... This specimen has the merit to be nearly clean ......
