Chronology of cameras Grell

The model presented here is a variation of the Olbia Clartex that wassupposed up to now to be  a simplified version of Olbia BX without setting possible for time exposure.

Curiously, this model has a rotating knob for a choice between instant /time exposure at the shutter which does not differentiates it any more from the Olbia BX.

So it seems that there is a range of Clartex.

By searching the Directory of 1926, I came across Clartex, Brand dedicated to vertical and horizontal enlargers for projection and photography. The manufacturer was H.A Grell, located rue de Turenne, No 80 in the 3rd district Paris. It remains now to investigate whether this manufacturer still existed in the late 40s.
