Chronology of cameras Olympus
The Superzoom 160G was also known as the Accura 160G in the USA. It is probably a second version of the Superzoom 160, which was the smallest camera with a 160 mm lens at the time of its release. It has a built in date imprinting function, indicated by two extra buttons next to the LCD, which is also powered by the CR2 battery. Some of the specifications given are for the Superzoom 160.
The Superzoom 160 was actually smaller than the Stylus Zoom 160, and it had very similar specifications. It illustrates the problems of a long zoom in a miniature compact; not only was the maximum aperture small at 160 mm (12,3), but the highest shutter speed available was also slower than at 38 mm (1/355 s).
