Chronology of cameras Agfa
The Agfa ePhoto CL50 offers two LCD screens for controlling all of its functions.
On the top, a small black and white screen displays usual information such as the number of remaining images, image quality, flash mode, macro mode, and battery capacity.
At the back, there is a second color screen that allows for customized settings in case one doesn't want to use the automatic mode. It also serves as a second viewfinder. A switch can activate or deactivate this screen.
But the most unique feature of the Agfa CL50 is called the Suncatcher. It is a small flap that opens on the top of the screen and deactivates the backlight while allowing sunlight to illuminate the screen from behind. This makes the screen much more readable in bright sunlight. Furthermore, when the flap is open, the backlight is powered without consuming any energy.
Unfortunately, the CL50 suffers from a significant image acquisition time. After pressing the shutter button, the green LED blinks in red for an average of 2 seconds. The operator must wait until the LED stops blinking in red before continuing to use the camera.
The videos, on the other hand, are of good quality.
