Chronology of cameras Nagel

The Nagel vertical folding cameras are divided into two series. The Librette series consists of simple yet beautifully crafted cameras.
The Vollenda series, on the other hand, features more advanced and technically complex models. When you open the camera's front cover, the bellows extends automatically without any additional action, and the lens positions itself, ready for shooting. The back opens fully, with hinge positioning that resembles the opening of a book. When you close the camera, the lens automatically sets itself to infinity focus. Vollenda lenses have apertures of f/6.3 for basic versions and f/4.5 for others.
The Vollenda vertical cameras come in three formats: 5 x 7.5, 6 x 9, or 6.5 x 11 cm. Each format is represented by a model number: 60 for 5 x 7.5 cm, 68, 70, or 72 for 6 x 9 cm, and 80 for 6.5 x 11 cm. There are three levels of finishing, each adding to the model number: /0 for the standard model with a single erecting viewfinder, /1 for the version with two viewfinders, and /2 for the Havana finish.

The combination of these possibilities results in numerous variants (not an exhaustive list):

After the acquisition of Nagel by Kodak, additional lenses and shutters were offered to customers, further increasing the number of camera variants available. This expansion of options allowed photographers to choose from a wider range of features and specifications to suit their specific needs and preferences.__________
