Chronology of cameras Graflex (Australia)
When Jack Hannes was forced out of Hanimex in 1982 he signed an agreement not to engage in competitive activity for four years.
His sons Tony and Martin set up an importing business that they called Graflex. (The original Graflex had ceased to exist in 1973). Jack joined his sons in the new venture in 1986 and was soon appointed chairman.
Graflex distributed only a very few cameras. The Graflex 35EL has two apertures for films of 100/200 and 400 ISO. The cell is only required to operate the red diode in the viewfinder when there is insufficient light.
The Graflex 35EL was also available in red. It may have been made by Premier.
