Chronology of cameras Gaumont 

This self casing folding plate camera has a 9 x 12 cm format and is made stained wood imitating mahogany, the bellows is tan leather.

The curtain type  shutter is a G. Jousset, the manufacturing of which was the activity well before those of the cameras. The patented Protar Zeiss 134 mm lens was manufactured by E. Krauss Paris. It is numbered 40666.
