Chronology of cameras Krasnogorsk
The Horizon 202 is, in 1989, the successor of the Horizon released in 1967. In the first version, we recognize some paternity in the manufacturing showing some common features with the Zenit E. On the 202, there is a complete break in the design. The look is modern, materials and manufacturing are worthy of their time.
The Horizon is a scanning panoramic camera, that is to say that the lens rotates laterally on an axis. It thus covers an angle of 120 °, while the vertical coverage is 45 °. This opens up new horizons. Scanning is done in a 1/4 of a second.
The lens is a 2.8 / 28 mm, without distance adjustment. The camera is completely manual; aperture and shutter speeds are set above the word "Horizon".
The cocking of the rotation of the turret and the film advance are done simultaneously by the cocking lever.
24 x 58 mm views are obtained.
