Chronology of cameras Foca
This Foca PF1 is also commonly called " painted star Foca" .
The PF1 were sold in 1946 and 1947. At the end of 1946, the PF2 is no longer available, only the PF1 can be acquired.
This is somehow a bloodless PF2. If it contains some its elements, including the shutter, it loses the rangefinder.
The viewfinder is Galileo type, it is provided for the focal length of 35 mm.
The four elements 3.5 / 35 mm lens is fixed , three screws hold it on the camera body. In addition to the indication of the distance, three simplified settings are available: Portrait, Groupe, Paysage (Portrait, Group, Landscape). These indications are engraved on the lens barrel together with the traditional metric scale.
This unit has never been proposed with synchronization.
